The advanced monitor panel market is poised for robust expansion in 2025, supported by rising OLED and MiniLED adoption, brand diversification, and a growing base of AI-enabled PCs driving display upgrades, according to Counterpoint Research’s latest Quarterly Advanced IT Display Shipment ,Technology and Capacity Report.

In Q2 2025, advanced monitor panel shipments surged 49% YoY, reflecting strong consumer and commercial demand. Shipments are expected to rise an additional 28% YoY in Q3 2025, with OLED models gaining traction while MiniLED monitors continue to outpace OLED by a 2:1 ratio.

On a panel revenue basis, the total monitor market increased 1% YoY in Q2 2025, marking a steady rebound in the broader display ecosystem. During their Q2 2025 earnings calls, leading PC brands, including Acer, Asus, Dell, HP and Lenovo, cited improved conditions across consumer and commercial segments, aided by the 3-5-year refresh cycle, AI PC adoption and the upcoming sunset of Windows 10 later this year.

For the full-year 2025, Counterpoint expects advanced monitor panel shipments to rise 48% YoY, reaching new highs as prices continue to decline and more products enter the market. Growth will be fueled by strong demand for 27”, 32”, 34”, 49” and 57” MiniLED models, as well as 27”, 32”, 34”, 39”, 42” and 48” OLED models across gaming and creative professional use cases.

By year-end 2025, the advanced monitor segment is projected to capture a 5.1% share of the total monitor market, up from less than 4% in 2024. In 2026, the segment is forecast to expand further by 27%, outpacing the total monitor market’s 2% growth, and surpassing a 6% share of global monitor shipments.
